Fade 2 Karma
Introduction
Fade 2 Karma (F2K) was founded in 2015 as a Hearthstone (a digital card game) e-sports team. By 2017, the team had 45 content creators and professional gamers streaming and competing in a variety of video games. They had a fast-growing team of talents and were well-positioned to be the leading source of editorial content in the card game space. I helped F2K redesign its editorial website. I revamped the information architecture (IA) to ensured scalability in the future.

F2K Reimagined
1. A New Information Architecture
F2K wanted to position itself as the number one source for video game editorial content. They added a variety of new content to their website. Unfortunately, all of those contents were placed under Blogs.
I helped them designed a new IA that better organized the content. The new IA made content discovery and navigation much easier.
2. Gave Content Creators the Star Treatment
Content creators were the stars of the website. They were prominently featured on the homepage when they went online. Editorial content also showed the authors' account status. We wanted users to feel closer to their favorite content creators on F2K.GG.
3. Encouraged Users to Discover and interact with Content
Reading articles and guides did not end unceremoniously. Users could scroll continuously to consume related content. We also implemented lightweight interactions, including liking, commenting, and sharing, to promote user engagement.
4. Stayed on F2K.gG
Streamers' profile pages were the most visited areas of the website. Fans wanted to learn more about their favorite streamers. We leveraged the Twitch API so the fans could watch the live streams on F2K.GG when streamers went online.
